HI, I’M DR. MARLENE CITARELLI
My goal is to create a warm and empathic therapeutic space where we can explore the thoughts, feelings, and experiences that brought you to therapy. I specialize in working with young adults, families, and couples managing various life stressors and transitions.
I received my bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Maryland and my master’s and doctoral degrees from the George Washington University. I have experience working with individuals of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. During my doctoral education, I trained in various settings, including community mental health clinics, college counseling centers, schools, and hospitals. I have experience providing individual, group, couples, family, and child-parent psychotherapy.
In addition to private practice, I hold a faculty appointment at Columbia University Medical Center and work at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital with children, families, and adults. I am a bilingual-bicultural clinician and can provide services in English and Spanish.
